Getting to Governors Island
Boats will begin leaving at 12:00 PM from THE BATTERY http://www.thebattery.org/the-battery/visiting-the-battery/ The only way to get to the island is by ferry FROM THE BATTERY. There is no parking on the island or at the Governors Island ferry building (also known as the BMB). NO CONCERT FERRIES LEAVE FROM THE BMB. There is garage parking for a fee in the area. We strongly suggest public transportation.

Does the Ferry cost extra? Nope! Ferry fees are included in the price of the ticket. Plan to arrive early. The trip to the Island and back is only approximately 10 minutes each way. Our own ferries run after hours until everyone is off the island.
